Volley Bowl ’24 Event date: @ The Ocean Manor Beach Resort on Sunday, November 3, 2024
Personnel from notable greater Fort Lauderdale restaurant staff’s comprise the volleyball teams that will take to Fort Lauderdale Beach at the Ocean Manor Beach Resort on Sunday, November 3, 2024 “This heavily spirited event titled Florida Volley Bowl ’24 will benefit the South Florida Wildlife Center in multiplicative ways,” states the longstanding producer of the event Wayne Koss.
Like past events, notable athletes and people in general are among the highlights of the event. Dan Marino, Dwayne Wade, Dennis Rodman, and Michael Irvin, among a host of major TV and Radio personalities and notable people from all fields, have joined us in interacting with the games and festivities. This year’s events will feature entertainers participating in the Upcoming Florida Music Awards Hall of Fame concerts among others.
Recent events hosted the Fort Lauderdale service industry’s good-hearted individuals from Bokampers Sports Bar & Grill, Bo’s Beach, Hooters of Beach Place, Blue Martini, Bru’s Room, Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza, Millers’ Ale House, Shooters, Original Fat Cats, Hott Leggz, JB‘s, The Royal Pig Pub + Kitchen, Fishtales, and Aruba Beach Cafe among others. This is a return event after the COVID-19 lingering interruptions of getting back to normalcy.
Ocean Manager Beach Resort owner Frank Talerico voices about past events. “It’s great to host an event where restaurant and Bar staff take time out to raise money for charities especially the charities for kids in need,” This year’s focus is on the environment and helping All Rescued Animals with the South Florida Wildlife Center that takes in over 10,000 rescued animals every year for an opportunity to simply survive.”
Numerous quality items will be available in raffles and a silent auction to help raise funds for charities including a large gathering of items from the event’s sponsors the Florida Music Awards Hall of Fame. The Florida Music Awards Hall of Fame Concert Showcase will be providing opportunities for attendees to gain VIP access to the upcoming showcase concert of legendary Florida entertainers among others.
Florida Music Awards Hall of Fame Founder and Chairman, Wayne Koss has hosted numerous past events at the Ocean Manor Beach Resort and JB’s on the Beach in Deerfield commented, “It’s a great way for people in the industry to get together and have some friendly competition. It’s a win-win for all. Especially the benefitting Charities. That is our mission in every direction.
